To those of you against Chief Illiniwek:
As hard as I try, I cannot understand how anyone can find the love and admiration shown to the Chief by thousands of people, negative or distasteful. We show more respect to the Chief than we do to one another, yet you are "offended". I saw many people heart broken with tears flowing during the last dance with Chief Illiniwek and all I can think is.....this is offensive?
If these kinds of emotions strike you as offensive, than your stupidity offends me!
