Being from Carolina Cherokee descent and a former resident of the State of Illinois I can't believe that the university is paying the salary of someone who is wasting time that should be spent on the students who indirectly pay his salary with garbage like this. Is this what our country has become, so PC that any reference of any sort that could possible offend someone must be erradicated? What is next the Fighting Irish mascot at Notre Dame? Maybe the Orange at Syracuse, after all it pokes fun at people who make use of phony tans. As a two time graduate of the University of Oregon (a school that is no slouch at taking up liberal and PC causes) perhaps we should re-examine our mascot, after all it certainly portrays Ducks in a bad light. If ever a person suffered from anger management issues it would be Donald Duck.
