"My name, too, is Bob Morgan," 8/17/2005

(Chief opinion: VeryFor)

I simply do not understand all the fuss over your athletic symbol. I have lived on an Indian Reservation for ten years, and during that time our daughter, being married to a Native American, adopted two Native American children. They are LEGALLY our Grandchildren. They are proud of their heritage, having been raised in a mixed culture. No one I know is offended, and frankly, most don't see what all the fuss is about. We have been to many parades in the Indian Country, and have seen countless "Native Americans", and I put that in quotes, because most of them today of a mixed lineage. So, why don't you lighten up. Nothing you ever do will satisfy everyone, but the more attention drawn to such an asinine argument, the more dissention it creates. Sincerely, Bob Morgan, Payson, AZ
