Dear Educators,

First of all, you know that racism is a learned behavior, why are you letting this behavior get out of hand? In the classroom, in the churches, in the workforce, and now you want to honor us out on the sports field? Where is your dignity? How can you justify your teams actions, these are your students that you are preparing to lead the country in the near future and you are not standing up and correcting negative behavior. Where are the parent-groups? What are they doing? Just going along and not making waves? Just don't say anything because we might loose our jobs? Our children are important, how do you think they feel just going to school and seeing other schools with mascots "Scalp the Indians" "Kill the Indians" . Please think this over deeper. You can stop the poison now, each and every one of you have a responsibility to take this out forever. Find another mascot that does not reflect a people or race. If you want to play ball then Play Ball!!!! If your team is that good, then more power to you! Good Luck, Try using your imagination and get your cheerleaders and team to take their paint off, you are creating a time bomb! Yes, I am Michael Haney's wife, more importantly I am a parent whose children have been through all this as well as here in Oklahoma, I am tired of sharing him with you and I will bring more parents with me and there will be an end to all this strip tease, tomahawk, war paint, cross dresser nonsense, Just play ball, you tell us to get a life, this IS our life, protecting our people nationwide, the Indian moms will not stand for this behavior....we will come up there and we will stop it, we don't need the men to be there, we will take matters into our own hands, Women are warriors too!!!! The worst kind!! I'm tired of all you people having meetings all these years and getting nothing done, the Chief is still prancing around. Be ready if you don't do the right thing and stop this disrespectful behavior! Cheri Haney- Creek Nation Of Oklahoma
