The Atlanta Braves, The Fighting Irish, The Vikings. These names are everywhere, and most people dont care. Why then, do the Native Americans care? If anything I think that they should be happy that they are populaur enough to have a team. I'm American, but I have German ancestry; when I see people doing things and saying things under a German sterotype, it makes me feel proud because I know that people still know that Germany exists. I take it in good humor, I have never been offended by any German comment-maybe a Polish one here and there though :) Since I am an American I know that people from everywhere come to this country, and I know that everyone is a little bit racist. Thats the way life is. I have been to a reservation before, my ex-girlfriend is an Indian. I have seen for myself that not all Native Americans are whining little pansies, and those that are are the ones that make normal people who do not know anything, hate them. Chill out, everyone is a victim of racism throughout their lives, even white males. If people dont start learning to live, and learning to accept things as they are, they are going to be sad and miserable for something that they can do nothing about, because thats how people are. Everyone just has to learn to be happy and for God's sake, please, He would say the same thing, chill out. They are not making fun of you.
