(Chief opinion: For)

I heard countless arguments from both sides on this issue. Each side has valid points. However, I will support the Chief until you finally get him removed. I never thought that anything he did was offensive. However, I am just a white kid from the suburbs. Therefore, my opinion really is not really valid. Anyone who is not of Native American decent (for or against the Chief) should come to this realization, too. The Native American people should have the final decision on this issue, as they are the ones being represented. If they decide to have the Chief removed, so be it.

Before I go, I want to issue a challenge to the anti-Chief crowd. If you want to help the Native American people, why don't you spend your time and energy doing something that will actually help them? This debate is so insignificant next to the real problems facing Native Americans. You should do something to help raise money for better schools, help create jobs, or help to fight alcoholism. If you approached these problems with the same conviction as the Chief argument, you could really make a difference.
