Native American should be honored that the school s have taken on their tribes as the schools mascot. [deleted] Carol Spindel [is trying] to make headlines when there was no headline to make. And the morons in the NCAA fell for her baloney. Aren't there more important issues facing the NCAA, like drug use. NO, lets focus on an insignificant issue and make it a national debate. The honor of having a school or a professional team named after any entity has never been done in a disresoectful way. I twas always done with a high degree of respect. I understand that some may be offended, but if we yeilded to those few who are offended all the time, nothing would ever get done. [deleted - ed. - personal attacks not printed here]
