to say it is an embarresment for the chief to be banned in post season, sorry but wrong anweser......it is an embarresment for sports to even consider accepting racialy demaning mascots. period. natives these days have low morale and dont need to be sunk in anymore. were not mythalogical people, we have no special magical powers, we are regular people who want regular lives, its not a question of wheather the mascot is right or wrong, its a question on who wants to make a change for the better. i hate turning on the television, looking in my sports illustrated and seeing a bad cartoon of all my 'ancestors faces' trust me, youd do more good if you just left the chief out of all sporting events and please,by god, dont bring the polls up "durr 83% of native...." NO. im a native and i STUDY and RESPECT my herritage, i dont use it for personal gain with any handouts, and as soneone who does so, i would appreciate the immediate demise of the chief and all reminents of him.
