Welcome to RetireTheChief |
R.F., Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004 (Opinion: strongly anti-Chief) I am very disturbed by the news that the vote may, and most likely will, be delayed by the board until at least the summer session. This tactic given in the name of "waiting for the vote from the student union on the matter." My question is "when in the H*** did human rights become a matter of popular vote! This proves beyond any doubt that the University board, the Community at large, and the student body are fully racists! This is like asking a plantation owner in Georgia (say in 1861) if slavery is an OKAY tradition! The stupidity of this move is overwhelming; and to the board "Seig Hiel Min Furrer!" You are all, save one, good little NAZI'S. I am ashamed to be a resident of Champaign, Illinois, or should I say "THE FATHER LAND!" R.F., via the web. |
