"Valdora Wyacko proud member of the Apache Nation," 6/03/2006

(Chief opinion: VeryAnti)

I am strongly anti chief. I would like to take this time to have the board of trustees nd the University of Illinois to think about this little piece of history. Long ago in World War 2 when we were at war, we had Navajo code talkers to help with the attacking of the enemy and telling of when and where they were headed. With pride America has given the Navajo code talkers medals and said that they saluted them for their civil and american duites and service to america. That is a lie! An outrageous and flamboyant lie! By the use of this mascot, the University of Illinois is basically spitting on the faces and family of the most respected warriors and children of the creator. In today's society we natives have many troubles, you can end racism NOW!
