(Chief opinion: For)
DO NOT give up the battle. The CHIEF stands for so much. He is all about the good of the University. I was in attendance for the Minnesota game. I purchased my Chief wear.
Remember There is a professor at U of I who wrote a book on why we should not have the CHIEF and got the chance to plug it on ESPN a few years ago. The anti-chief group are making bumper stickers and other items all for sale. I guess it is ok for these people to use the chief to pay for things or to make financial gain(book writer).
Ask former Chiefs as to what they had to do to be CHIEF and the standards they had to follow.
