I may have my intellect subjected to attack... but I'm a fairly intelligent person.... as a kid growing up in the 70's, I saw plenty of "Cowboy and Indian" shows and I went from thinking Native Americans were a blood thirsty race who lived to chop off scalps for fun to wanting to know more about them because of Chief Illiniwek. Is it right for a non-Jew to play Jesus... is it right for a Jew to play Jesus since they did not recognize his claimed status.

That's all... I know it won't change your views... but there is no reason in this world to lump Chief Illiniwek with Chief Wahoo or the Redskins... I think a lot of people have the same feelings I do about Chief Illiniwek giving them a more open mind on the Native American experience.... and there is no dispute, the Chief is very respectful... the "he's not a real Native American" doesn't hold weight...
