Chicago Native Americans Protest Against the Chief


Native Americans from Chicago, Champaign and elsewhere joined in a protest against the Chief on Thursday, January 15. The meeting was organized by Leonard Malatare and Christine Redcloud of Native American Educational Services College (NAES) in Chicago, and by the American Indian Center, Chicago. Speakers included representatives of Champaign's Progressive Resource / Action Cooperative, and Joe Podlasek, the director of the American Indian Center in Chicago.
