Chief protest at Assembly Hall - Feb. 18, 2003

A protest was held outside of the U.I. Assembly Hall prior to the basketball game on Feb. 18, 2003. As fans showed up for the game, protestors handed out leaflets proclaiming "Win the game, Lose the Chief." Local television media were there to cover the protest. (Illinois won the game 70-40 before 16,500 fans).
